Dashboard Confessional
Chris Carrabba & co. will release the acoustic-flavored “The Shade Of Poison Trees” on October 2nd.
The Eagles
The band’s first studio album in 28 years now has a release date. “Long Road Out Of Eden” will hit stores (as long as those stores have a big “Wal-Mart” sign in front of them, as that retailer has an exclusive deal) on October 30th.
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
This fall, The Boss reunites with his backing band for their first album together in five years. The Brendan O’Brien-produced “Magic” is due October 2nd.
Scott Walker
The veteran performer will release an all-instrumental album, “And Who Shall Go To The Ball? And What Shall Go To The Ball?,” on September 24th (in the UK), courtesy of 4AD.
Pseudosix release their self-titled debut on August 28th on Sonic Boom. The band consists of Tim Perry and Jay Clarke (Dolorean, The Standard), with The Decemberists’ Chris Funk guesting on the track “Copout.”
Bruce Springsteen guests on wife Patti Scialfa’s next solo album, “Play It As It Lays,” coming September 4th. Springsteen also has a track appearing on a charity compilation, “Feels Like Home,” due September 25th.
